Goal Setting

Good day to you my dear readers. Today I'd like to discuss and share with you the proper way of setting your goals and how you can achieve them. As I've learned with Bro. Bo Sanchez during the IMG SMX Convention, he told us that when you set a goal, you should be more specific and detailed. Like for example you wrote down wanting to buy you own dream car as you wish list or part of your goal, you should be specific as to what type? what color? and what brand? When you set a goal, have a vision of what it really looks like so you would know how to attain them. He taught us that it is not enough to write down the realizations or key points that you have learned during seminars or conventions but there should always be a field for resolutions and routine as your jot-down notes. By doing these you can break the "Block" that hinders you from attaining your goals. This block he mentioned is what he called "Education without Execution". It is very important to apply what you have learned all the time. 

Goal setting should be S.M.A.R.T. Specific, Measurable, Attainable, Relevant and Time Bound. Another thing I learned just this Saturday during our weekly meetings with our TRM head coach Sir Benj, he said when you set a goal make it 3 times more difficult. If you aim for the stars you may land on the moon, when you reach for the sky, you may land on the trees at least you are a step higher than the ground. Make sense right?

 

Always aim higher than what your true goal is, so in case you fail you may still be at where your goal is or at least close to it. When you fall, you don't drop to the ground, and would be much easier to get back up. I've also learned with one of our coaches speech during the convention that you need 5P's to success. You need Prayer, Persistence, Perseverance, Passion,  and Passion oh and one more Poccus (Foccus) as added by Sir Noel.
