As I have shared my story from my recent post, here's the company I was talking about.
I’d like to share with you my personal experience in becoming a member of IMG, and what made us join.
Our Ninang was actually the one who invited us on this journey, and my wife and I are very thankful for her to share this wonderful opportunity with us. At first we were quite hesitant thinking it was some sort of pyramiding. She then introduced us to her Marketing Director Mrs. Luz Lozada and that's when it all began.
About IMG
IMG actually stands for International Marketing Group and they operate as a financial distribution company. They’re actually a big company with offices and marketing arms in the US, Canada, Taiwan, Hongkong, Philippines and other countries worldwide.
Being a “financial distribution company” means they carry a broad array of financial products & services – from insurance to mutual funds, from real estate to loans management, and several other personal finance and investment products.
In simple terms, they are a “one-stop shop” for all your financial needs.
Unlike most companies whose focus is in selling their products, IMG is more focused on educating and helping people increase their financial I.Q. – because they believe that when you understand the importance of saving and investing – then you’ll already take it upon yourself to develop a financial strategy and learn more about their products and services.
But IMG will not do that, instead… they will inform you that the weather forecast for the day is that there is a high probability of rainfall later. If you went out of your house prepared, then you’re all good – but if not, then I’m sure you’ll suddenly consider buying that umbrella, right?

Financial Literacy
During our meeting we were taught financial concepts like the X Curve and compounding interest which opened our minds into reality that financial literacy and security is very important not only for the wealthy but for every Juan out there who works very hard for their loved ones. We also learned that there is proper order and right way of investing to build a solid financial foundation and the the 6 Steps to Financial Security. I shall discuss more about these concepts on this blog.
The IMG Wealth Academy
Currently, they have 33 modules which you can learn from. And so far, we’ve been able to attend three.The first one we attended was called Series 1, which is about Practical Money Management
Strategies. The second one which I attended was Series 2, which is about Creating Multiple Passive Income Streams. IMG Wealth Academy National Marketing Director, and now friend, Mrs. Luz Lozada together with Field Leaders, our Ninang and Ninong Mr. Eric and Mrs. Edna Belen gave us a one-on-one table lecture about it.
The most recent one, was called Upstart School, which basically continues where Series 2 left of. The most interesting learning I got on this one is the so-called, “Four Cornerstones of a Strong Financial Foundation”. This time, we went to their office in Makati and attended the classroom seminar. We also attended the Kaiser Health Seminar that was focused on Long term Health Care, Protection and Investment through the Ultimate Kaiser Health Building Program.

Personal Thoughts
What we liked about IMG is the passion and mission to help every family be financially secure and literate. I've experienced and witnessed those fearful situations caused by mismanaged money and does not want my family, loved ones and friends to walk the same path so I believe we share the same mission in which every Juan deserves to be wealthy. Earning from this company is just the 2nd thing. We see a big business opportunity with IMG where you are in a business yourself but not by yourself. We heard the saying if you want to be rich, be with the rich, act and think like they do. Learn from great coaches and big people in the industry how we can actually have money working for us, protect our family and secure our future.
